- S Wilson – A guide to Civil Registration districts.
- John Grenham – Site hosts a variety of maps including civil parish maps, roman catholic parish maps, poor law union maps, barony maps and many more.
- Irish Surname Maps – Site maps all surnames using information from the 1901 and 1911 census of Ireland.
- Leitrim-Roscommon Genealogy website – This search engine will perform a search of the Leitrim-Roscommon townland data base.
- The IreAtlas townland database – Townland database.
- Tailte Éireann – The Irish state agency responsible for property registrations, property valuation and national mapping services. It was established from a merger of the Property Registration Authority, the Valuation Office and Ordnance Survey Ireland.
- Townlands.ie – Allows for the locating of all townlands whose names are in current use, together with their positions relative to adjoining townlands.
- Dúchas.ie – Find folklore collected in a particular area, or related to a place of interest.
